Dan Yungwirth | Miller Contracting

Dan received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.  He was then hired by Federated Co-operatives, where he spent several years in Manitoba in the Petroleum Marketing Department.  Following that, he struck out on his own as owner-operator of Co-op gas bars in Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba.  An opportunity in commercial banking presented itself, where he joined Sunova Credit Union as a Commercial/Ag lender.  After a short time in that position, he was promoted to Managing Partner of a new branch in Oakbank, MB.

An opportunity to enter the construction field as General Manager and part owner of Miller Contracting Ltd. presented itself in 2012, leading Dan to return to his roots in Prince Albert.  Miller Contracting is diversified in the construction industry, being involved in commercial, residential, and multi-family projects since 1972.  In the home-building field, the company is a 2018 Bridges Award winner, Holmes Approved Homes Builder, as well as a winner of several additional industry awards.

Dan has been a Director of the Prince Albert Construction Association since 2013.  He was also a member of the Saskatoon Region Home Builders Association BIL Committee and past Provincial Rep for CHBA’s Technical Research Committee.  He has been a Board member of the Prince Albert Habitat for Humanity chapter as well.  Dan lives in Prince Albert with his amazing wife Jeneen and their three daughters.
